Classroom Assessment Scoring System

HHS uses the CLASS assessment tool to observe the quality of interactions between children and adults in the classroom. Mentor Coaches and Child Health and Development staff complete the CLASS assessment twice per year. Teaching staff and Mentor Coaches discuss areas of strength as well as areas of needed improvement.
